Things to do in Golden

Take the Coors Brewery Tour
Since 1873 the Coors brewery has thrived on a legacy of quality, innovation and customer service. The tour showcases the company’s history and passion for brewing.
Your tour takes place in the world’s largest single-site brewery. The brewery experience includes a 30-minute self-paced tour highlighting Coors’ malting, brewing and packaging processes. Cool off in the “fresh beer room,” where visitors sip a cold sample and rest on ice-cube benches in a refrigerated room.
At the end of the tour, view old photos, neons, historical beer cans, bottles and memorabilia, and have the opportunity to sample* Coors’ refreshing products.
Hours: 10am – 4pm. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the winter
Phone: 303-277-2337
Location: Busses collect tour-goers at 13th and Ford Streets.

Two monolithic sandstone rocks to the color of a Southwestern sunset comprise Red Rocks Amphitheater. Leave it to nature to outdo their best efforts at designing the world’s best venue. Visit Golden City Brewery
Golden’s second largest brewery! Extremely popular with locals, this brewery is about as “micro” as they come. Located in the 12th Street historic district, they make great beer, including an IPA, a red ale, and several seasonal releases. There is a small seating area inside, and a large patio area outside. Probably the best place in Golden to grab a beer and relax on a sunny afternoon!

Phone: (303) 279-8092
Location: 920 12th Street, Golden, CO 80401
