Corporate Profile Investment Evaluations Corporation (IEC) is a private Colorado firm incorporated in 1974 to present seminars and publish textbooks related to economic evaluation and engineering economy. Stermole is published and copyrighted by Investment Evaluations Corporation. The text covers the subjects presented in the short course and includes review of time value of money concepts, evaluation techniques such as rate of return, net present value, benefit cost and present value ratios, and break-even analyses. These techniques are applied to a variety of investment scenarios including mutually exclusive and non-mutually exclusive alternatives on both a before-tax and after-tax basis. Numerous quantitative examples are given throughout the text to more fully illustrate the material. End of chapter textbook problems are solved in the accompanying "Problems Solutions Manual." A "Self-Teaching Manual" is also available to aid the reader's understanding of basic discounted cash flow analysis concepts presented in Chapters Two, Three and Four in the textbook.
